Join the Hitchcocks Motorcycles Team – Full-Time Vacancies Available (Opportunities arising due to retirements and expansion)
Hitchcocks Motorcycles is a specialist mail-order company supplying parts primarily for Royal Enfield motorcycles. Based in Chadwick End, Solihull, we are currently looking to fill several full-time positions within our team.
SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Office based position mainly involving taking orders over the phone and responding to online enquiries, will include some variation such as building assemblies, picking orders and general stock control within the warehouse. Requires a degree of mechanical understanding and a background knowledge of motorcycles. The applicant must be computer literate.
PACKER/PICKER – Primary work will be packing and picking orders but will include general duties in the dispatch and goods-in department. Background knowledge of motorcycles is not necessary.
DEVELOPMENT – Designing, developing and testing products for the new models. Needs to have hands-on and computer skills aiming to be able to produce samples and prototypes with a variety of tools including 3D scanning and printing.
ENGINEERING MACHINIST – 2 vacancies manufacturing components specifically for classic motorcycles:
The first is for a machinist with CNC milling and turning experience of small batch work.
The second vacancy includes 2nd op work from CNC machines to workbench jobs. The applicant should be able to work from their own initiative with little to no supervision. Based in our own workshop with traditional engineering practices
These are all full-time roles Monday to Friday (part time would be considered for the right applicant).
